By now, most people know that iPhone owners will soon be able to download the Bible app from the App Store.
But for those of us who haven’t yet gotten our hands on an iPhone, how does it work?
Well, if you’re a regular reader of The Lad, you know that we have an iPhone app.
In fact, the app is the only one that is truly free, and we’ll be using the free version of the app to share our stories, videos, and memes with you.
The Lad is a podcast about the life and work of the legendary novelist L. Frank Baum.
Since its founding in 1998, the podcast has been dedicated to telling the story of the people who made Baum’s novel, The Jungle Book, the world-renowned classic of children’s literature.
In addition to the regular podcast, we also publish a series of two-hour podcasts that cover topics like the history of the Baum family, the rise of American theater, the birth of the “cult of the silent movie,” and more.
Since its inception, the Lad has been a regular source of entertainment for fans of Baum and his books.
In 2016, The Lad won the Pulitzer Prize for journalism.
In 2017, The Madhouse Collection premiered its second installment of the series, The Man Who Made Me.
We’ve published more than 5 million downloads of the podcast and it has made a major impact on our audience, reaching millions of listeners across the world.
While we don’t use the app for anything more than entertainment, we do enjoy using it for storytelling.
In a recent podcast episode, I had the opportunity to interview an American audience member who had been in his home for three days, living in a cabin with only the light of the sun shining on him.
The person who had this experience, named Bill, said that the reason he stayed in his cabin for three weeks was that he knew that he would never see the world without the Lad app.
We can’t wait to see how Bill and his family cope with their new surroundings.
While the podcast is free to download, the service is limited in its ability to offer ads.
This means that if you’ve signed up to the service for an unlimited amount of time, you will not be able make a purchase.
While we understand that the ads can be annoying, we hope that they don’t negatively impact your enjoyment of the show.
