New options for NHL.com users are coming to their TV screens and calendars, allowing fans to watch live broadcasts of the games via the team’s online streaming service.
The new features include a countdown clock, live scores, and a searchable player profile.
The goal is to provide the best hockey experience possible.
In addition to live scores and the live scoring, the streaming option lets users view the schedule for games that they have been invited to watch via the NHL app or via the mobile app.
For example, if a user has an invite to watch the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 25, they can access the schedule, and they can see when it’s set to air, if the game is on ESPN or ESPN2.
The player profile will show the player’s position and statistics for the game, and the game’s schedule.
There’s also a live score feature for games broadcast via the web.
The app lets fans know when the next live game will be streamed, and it will be available to stream live from the NHL website.
The app also lets users track their favourite players and teams.
Users can set up personalized alerts, such as when a player is playing well or when a team has a high rating, and will also be able to set a reminder.
The NHL app for iOS and Android, along with NHL.tv, will be the primary platforms for fans to access live NHL content.
The two apps will also provide access to NHL.net, a video streaming platform that will have its debut in 2018.
Both of the apps will be free.
